Directions to Kinney Natatorium, Bucknell University, Lewisburg PA ~
From Clearfield, travel I-80 East to Exit 210A and continue south on
US 15 to Lewisburg. Look for and drive past The Chevy Dealer, the
Burger King , Lewisburg High School and the Lewisburg Cemetery,
all on your left, and soon you’ll be at the Bucknell campus. Turn left
onto Moore Street and look for the Kenneth Langone Athletic and
Recreational Center (KLARC) in which the Natatorium is situated.
When Moore intersects with N. 7th Street, turn left on 7th where
parking for the KLARC is located.
About 100 miles from home, allow around 2 hours travel time.
Totally OT Trivia ~ If you click on the Google Map link you'll see that right where you
turn left to enter Moore St. that Bucknell's football stadium is straight ahead and that
it is named for Christy Mathewson. Mathewson attended Bucknell where he played football,
basketball and baseball and is an MLB Hall-of-Famer, having pitched for the New York
Giants for 17 seasons (373/188, .665). He was elected to the Hall Of Fame in 1936 as one
of its first five members and is interred at the previously mentioned Lewisburg Cemetery.
