Novice Swimming Championships
When/Where:Sunday, February 22 @ Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Zink Hall
Facilities:6 lane, 25 yard indoor pool with spectator seating.
Lunch, snacks and seeding will be in the gymnasium.
Admission to natatorium will be $2 for adults, children no charge.
Warm-Ups:Start @ 9:30 AM. Lane assignments/time will be emailed prior to meet.
Meet Start:Following swimmers parade @ 11:00 AM.
Entries:Swimmers 7 or 8 years of age may enter 4 events; 1 must be a relay.
Swimmers 6 years of age & younger may enter 4 events; 1 must be a relay in any combination of “8 & Under” or “6 & Under” events.
Age:Age as of December 1st 2008
Fees:$4.00 per individual event:$16.00 per relay.
Teams with >5 swimmers must submit entries by EMAIL or DISK or a $20 fee will be charged. EMAIL ENTRIES to bmotley@atlanticbb.net. Meet summary and check must follow in the mail and be received by February 16, 2007.

Entry Enter best 25 yard time on designated entry sheets for boys/girls and
Forms: for different age levels.
Seeding: All individual and relay events are timed finals and will be seeded from slowest to fastest. All swimmers must check in at the seeding area at the first call of the event and remain in the seeding area after check-in.
Awards:One designated individual from each team may pick up awards. Awards include:

1st - 6th Trophies 1st - 3rd Trophies 1st & 2nd Girls Trophies
7th - 9th Ribbons 4th - 6th Medals 1st & 2nd Boys Trophies
Heat ribbons will be given out.
Each swimmer will be awarded a participation medal.

Relay:32-26-24-22-20-18-14-10-8-6-4-2
Rules:Current NCAA Swimming Rules will be enforced. Inquiries are to be made by the Head Coach only & directed solely to the Head Referee.
