On June 22nd, Clearfield Elks Lodge #540 sponsored Clearfield Elks Community Day at our local pool.

The Lodge underwrote free admission for all attendees at the pool all day, served free hot dogs from 1 to 6 p.m. and sponsored reduced price swimming lessons at the pool for the first forty to enroll.
The fun day, made possible in part by the use of a Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation was attended by 373 people. Many of the folks
expressed appreciation to the Elks for making it possible for their kids to
enjoy a free day at the pool.
